FROM THE FIRST OF APRIL A NEW BUS CONNECTION PARTINICO-TRAPPETO-BALESTRATE IS AVAILABLE
With effect from 1st April, Segesta Bus Lines takes over Sassadoro Bus Lines in the provision of the public service Partinico-Balestrate-Trappeto.
The new service starts with a provisional schedule, which takes into account of the closure of schools until 6th April
- departure from Balestrate (via Madonna del Ponte) to Trappeto and Partinico at h. 7:15 – 9:15 – 17:15
- departure from Trappeto (piazza santa Rosalia) to Partinico at h. 7:25 – 9:25 – 17:25
- departure from Partinico (viale della Regione) to Trappeto and Balestrate at h. 8:45 – 13:45 – 17:45.
From 7th April, three additional bus rides are introduced and the definitive schedule is the following
- departure from Balestrate (via Madonna del Ponte) to Trappeto and Partinico at h 7:15 – 9:15 – 12:15 – 13:15 – 14:15 17:15
- departure from Trappeto (piazza santa Rosalia) to Partinico at h 7:25 – 9:25 – 12:25 – 13:25 – 14:25 – 17:25
- departure from Partinico (viale della Regione) to Trappeto and Balestrate at h 8:45 –11:45 –12:45 –13:45 –14:45 – 17:45.
The mayor of Trappeto, Santo Cosentino, expresses “a heartfelt thanks to the historic company Sassadoro for the impeccable and reliable service provided during all these years”.
Last year, Sassadoro had already announced that the constant cuts by the Region and the well known delays in the payment of the amounts due for the services provided would have inevitably led to a crisis within the company.
Despite the numerous meetings and technical discussions held at the Region government, another year has spent without achieving the desired change of pace and thereby exhausting the company’s willingness to continue.
